SUMMARY:Euro IRP Announcement - CSFI Publication
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce the new CSFI report on the future for investment research will be published on Monday 23rd October. \nWe have commissioned this third special report – undertaken by an independent body with the stature of CSFI –   to examine the challenges facing IRPs\, the buy-side\, and the sell-side\, under the far-reaching changes adopted under MiFID II.  This new report follows on from the two prior CSFI reports –  “Has Independent Research come of Age?” in 2011 and “Because they’re worth it?” in 2012. \nAs discussed at our AGM\, the imminent onset of MiFID II makes this exactly the right time for this new report\, creating potential to further raise the profile both of independent research and of Euro IRP\, with both the media and the regulators. \nThe report has been authored by Jane Fuller\, former Financial Editor of the Financial Times\, and we are very grateful to Jane for her time to speak to our members\, at a special breakfast briefing\, on Wednesday 18 October in an exclusive preview to the report. \nFollowing the report’s publication\, CSFI will host a Report Launch Event with Panel Discussion on Tuesday 24 October at The London Capital Club.  We look forward to welcoming our members to this special evening\, as well as CSFI members and supporters\, press and media. \nAll members will receive invitations to both these events together with three complimentary copies of the report next week.
