DESCRIPTION:3.00pm – 3.25pm     Registration/Welcome refreshments\n3.30pm – 6.00pm     AGM\n6.00pm – 7.00pm     Members’ Drinks  \nWe are delighted to be hosting our 2018 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 24 April 2018\, at The Brand Exchange in the City of London. \nAt this critical time for our industry\, our aim will be to focus on what is at the forefront of the members’ interests in the independent research sector\, and we hope our agenda will provide the opportunity for discussion\, debate and shared learning. \nOur focused and practical working sessions will be led by Chris Mortimer\, Head of VAT Practice\, Macfarlanes LLP\, a leading London based law firm. These sessions will focus on the challenges our members are facing with: \n– VAT\n   – Client Agreements\n   – General Data Protection (GDPR) Regulations \nOur AGM Panel Discussion this year will be chaired by Amar Rajani\, founder of Argella Limited\, and will debate how the buyside are consuming and paying for external research\, and the pivotal role of technology in this.   Amar brings to the panel over 20 years’ experience in the financial and technology sectors\, primarily with Bloomberg as their Global Product Manager. We are extremely grateful to Amar for his time and support and the wealth of insight and experience he brings to the panel.  \nOur panel will represent both the FINTECH sector as well as the buyside\, and we are sure that Amar\, alongside our Panel Participants\, will create a platform of discussion and debate to harness further opportunity for our members to engage and contribute to the conversation. Details of the panel participants will be announced next week. \nMembers only meeting\nRSVP deadline Friday 20 April 2018

DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to be hosting an event exclusively for our members to launch our first in-depth Euro IRP members’ survey\, presented by Steve Kelly\, at The Brand Exchange on 6 July.\nThe primary aim of our study has been to collect information and views from all our Euro IRP members\, on the key questions and issues they face in their business\, to generate an overall set of data and insights we believe will genuinely offer every Euro IRP member real value\, and real interest.\nWe have asked Steve Kelly to prepare a full report\, with analysis of the survey findings\, which will be available to all our members in mid July.  Steve will be presenting the findings of the survey exclusively to our members at this special breakfast briefing.\nWe thank all our members who have taken part in our survey and supported us with this important initiative.

DESCRIPTION:Chris Deavin\, Euro IRP Chairman\, will be hosting our first Opinion Former breakfast – aimed to stimulate debate around hot topics raised by our members and discussed with our members. These events will often be facilitated by industry experts and we hope these Opinion Former events will create an opportunity to network and learn best practice from the experience of peers. \nFor our first Opinion Former breakfast we will be joined by Mike Carrodus\, Founder & CEO\, Substantive Research.  Mike will be speaking to our members about matching providers and PMs and how using compatibility analysis can help. \nThese events will start at 8.30am and run for 45 minutes. We will serve refreshments and pastries at 8.15am for any members wishing to meet early. \nIf you are interested in attending this event please RSVP directly to Sue Westwood at sue.westwood@euroirp.com.
