We are delighted to be able to invite our Members to a Bloomberg Briefing, hosted at their new European Headquarters in the heart of the City of London, exclusively for Euro IRP on Wednesday 5 December.

Bloomberg has organised a very engaging agenda for this special event which will provide our members with viewpoints from Bloomberg’s policy analyst speaking about MiFID II, sell-side specialist discussing research distribution and the importance of raised visibility in such a competitive marketplace, as well as their buy-side specialist sharing insights into buy-side work flows.

Nick Joseph, Bloomberg Global Head of Research Management Solutions, will also be presenting to our members on Bloomberg’s new publishing platform and tools.

Bloomberg’s guest speaker is Travis Barker, COO, HSBC Asset Management, who will be sharing his unique buy-side insight into the market for independent research, how HSBC source and procure independent research, find new content and providers and how they consume, audit and evaluate non-broker research compared with broker research.

Travis will conclude with his advice on what he feels independent research providers should be doing in the current climate to make themselves seen and heard by the buy-side.

Time will be allocated for questions.

Whilst this event is hosted in London it will be video linked to Bloomberg offices in Paris, Munich and Zurich to ensure as many of our members have the opportunity to join the event as possible.

The event will require registration and security which will require photo ID.  Registration will open at 8am, followed by breakfast with welcome refreshments served before the presentations which will be held in Bloomberg’s new auditorium from 8.30am.

We ask that members who want to join this event are available from 8am, to ensure that they have ample time to register and pass through security, until 10.30am when the event will end.
