Euro IRP has been invited to take part in a panel discussion on the UK IPO Process at Squarebook’s IPO event on Wednesday 1 May. Euro IRP played a pivotal role in the drafting of the new guidelines with the FCA and AFME to ensure equal access for independent research providers and Julia Ashworth, Euro IRP Director, who led the discussions on behalf of our members, will be representing Euro IRP at these panel discussions on 1 May.
Squarebook’s event sets out to examine how technology and regulation will shape the evolution of primary markets through a series of panel discussion, with Mhairi Jackson, FCA, Manager of Wholesale Conduct and Markets Policy, opening with a keynote address.
Alongside Julia Ashworth will be industry leaders from investment banks, advisors, investors and growth firms at various stages of the capital-raising process, with representatives from PwC, Baillie Gifford, London Stock Exchange, Project Heather (Scottish Stock Exchange) and Schroders.
Panel discussions will reflect on how recent rule changes have impacted the IPO process from an intermediary and end user perspective, and consider the way ahead for the industry.
