Unbundling Uncovered USA Conference 2020

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Substantive Research Unbundling Uncovered conference, due to have taken place in New York this month has had to be, understandably, postponed.

We understand that Mike Carrodus and his team hope to return to The Metropolitan Club on 5 October 2020, and has kindly extended the offer of two complimentary passes to each Euro IRP member firm who would like to attend this New York conference in October.  Members can put this date in their diaries by way of a “save the date” and we will ensure that you are kept up to date on news from Substantive Research later in the year, and how you can secure your tickets, if the conference can take place.

In the meantime the Substantive Research have been adapting to a changing landscape and will be hosting their first virtual Substantive Research conference next Wednesday, 24 June.

As Mike Carrodus advises … “There have already been dramatic changes in supply and demand in the last 3 years driven by regulatory and industry trends, with asset managers globally having adopted rigorous and transparent research valuation and budgeting processes. This transformation has created challenges, and both buyside and sellside are navigating a market that is in the process of clearing for price whilst simultaneously dealing with the fallout from COVID-19.  Discussion panels will cover global best practices in research management, research valuation and budgeting, providers’ business models and how they are adapting during the crisis, and corporate access post-COVID-19.”

As many of our members are aware, these conference, both in London and New York, attracted over 400 participants last year, providing Euro IRP and its members an opportunity to attend a day of high quality debate and analysis.  We are very much looking forward to returning to Substantive Research’s conference in London on 10 November 2020, but in the meantime our members can take this opportunity to register for free for next Wednesday’s online conference.
